Declaration on accessibility
This accessibility statement applies to the following digital offerings of coapp GmbH:
- Website: https://coapp.io
- Help portal: https://help.coapp.io
- Software product: Coapp community platform (SaaS)
Accessibility status
The above-mentioned digital services have been checked internally. The requirements of the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) are partially met. The assessment was carried out by means of a self-assessment using technical tools, including Google Lighthouse and VoiceOver (macOS).
Non-accessible content
We are continuously working on adapting the coapp platform to the requirements of WCAG 2.1 at conformance level AA. Many central Features are already accessible, but there are still limitations in some areas. These include a partially inadequate visual representation of the keyboard focus and color contrasts that are not consistently compliant for individual elements such as icons or badges. User onboarding is designed to be barrier-free, and semantic labeling with ARIA roles has been largely implemented, but is being continuously optimized.
We regularly carry out automated tests with Google Lighthouse for orientation purposes. The tested page areas currently achieve an accessibility score of between 65% and 75%. These values correspond to an average level of implementation, which we are gradually improving. We pursue continuous further development in close compliance with the applicable accessibility standards.
Alternatives and responsibilities
- The operators of the individual communities are responsible for content within the Coapp platform.
- For content on the coapp.io and help.coapp.io websites, Coapp Support is available as a point of contact.
