coapp standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)
Valid from: 15.11.2025
Last updated: 11/15/2025
At coapp, we are committed to ensuring that our platform and all communities built on it remain safe and free from any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We take this responsibility very seriously and have clear zero-tolerance standards for any content or behavior that involves, promotes or condones CSAE.
1. zero tolerance directive
coapp expressly prohibits:
- The creation, distribution or possession of depictions of child sexual abuse (CSAM).
- The solicitation, manipulation or recruitment of minors for sexual purposes.
- Any discussions, depictions or media that sexualize minors or promote exploitation in any form.
Any person, company or community involved in such activities will be permanently banned and, if necessary, reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
2. platform monitoring and reporting
Although coapp provides a white-label community infrastructure, we take proactive steps to prevent abuse:
- Automated and manual systems can be used to detect and remove illegal or harmful content.
- We respond immediately to reports of potential CSAE cases.
- Confirmed reports or evidence of CSAE will be forwarded to the **National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)** or to the appropriate local authorities.
3. obligations of coapp clients
Organizations that use coapp to manage their own brand communities are obliged to do so:
- Establish moderation and reporting procedures that meet these standards.
- remove and report CSAE-related content as soon as it is discovered.
- Ensure that all administrators and moderators are informed about coapp's CSAE standards and trained accordingly.
4. notification from CSAE
If you notice content or behavior on a coapp-based community that may be related to child sexual abuse or exploitation:
- Report this immediately to the administrator or moderator of the community.
- You can also contact coapp directly at help@coapp.io.
We will investigate any tip-off as quickly as possible and take appropriate action, including blocking accounts and reporting to law enforcement agencies if necessary.
5. continuous improvement
coapp regularly reviews and updates its security standards to align them with international best practices and regulatory requirements, including the guidelines of organizations such as NCMEC, INHOPE and the Technology Coalition.
