The Community Builder Community - COWORK2023

We were at Cowork2023 last weekend, organized by the German Coworking Federation - and we are still excited! Coworking space operators and those who are about to become one were invited.

The conference has presented itself as a valuable platform for relevant topics. A visit to Utopiastadt, the ongoing social congress with ambition and impact, got the weekend off to a promising start. David J. Becher, "Actually, I'm just the neighbor here," brought us closer to the vision. We wish you superpowers for the years to come! Thanks to Maria Herrmann - who, by the way, has been with us in the coworking scene for 10 years now - and Jens Kummermehr for the keynote on resilience.

The venue for Cowork2023 was the machine hall of the GuT - Gründer- und Technologiezentrum Solingen and the coworking space coworkit. Applause for the fabulous team around Phil Derichs, who accompanied us day and night. 😃

The barcamp on Saturday had numerous parallel focal points with a great variety of topics. Unfortunately, we could not participate in all of them. But we would like to mention the workshop with Gregory von Abendroth from 1000 Satellites GmbH and Tim Schabsky from Work Inn on the topic of sustainability! 🌱

In our own barcamp on the topic of community engagement and community economy, we gave an outlook on where coapp sees the future of working communities. We also wrote an article on this some time ago. The feedback confirmed for us that the future is not about renting out tables and screens, but about networking and collaboration among members. The Hafven example shows that this is already a viable business model for the future. Those who could not attend our workshop are welcome to arrange a demo.

For the many valuable conversations with Jean-Yves Huwart, Anni Roolf, Robert Kropp, Kay Riehn von Coworkland, Lisa Damian, Claudia Limbrock, Annika Kortümm, Karsten Schmidt, Marko Schmidt, Birk Frederik Bauer, Claudius Krucker, Sebastian Daenel, Iman Roza Rüppel, Christa Hünting, Nicole Haas, Vanessa Thielemann we would like to thank you again very much!

And especially to the GCF team of Christian Cordes, Anja Müller, Christopher J. Schmidhofer, Vicki Janssen, Johanna Voll, Dina Sierralta, Alexandra Bernhardt, Wolf-Nicolas Henkels.

Until next time!
