coapp completes seed funding to expand its community business platform across Europe.

The Hanover-based software start-up announced today the closing of a seed financing. The new investors are Invest-Impuls with fund management EnjoyVenture and private equity firm Plimo Ventures. The closing of the round brings the funding to approximately one million euros.

coapp is designed to become the operating system for the age of hybrid working and the B2B sharing economy for modern community businesses such as co-working spaces, professional networks and larger enterprises.

The community platform is already used by thousands of users, especially in Germany. With the help of the new funding, the expansion of the platform and its growth across Europe will now be boosted.

The new investors join founding investor and coworking company Hafven.

"With the fresh capital, we get the extra power to help more community builders bring people together much better on their platforms. We are happy to have three investors on board, Invest-Impuls, Plimo Ventures and Hafven, who have already shown a good hand for innovative start-ups in the past." Jonas Lindemann, co-founder and CEO of coapp GmbH, is pleased about the successful seed round.

"With Hardy Seiler, Magomed Arsaev and Jonas Lindemann, we are relying on a strong founding team. They are well placed to turn their vision for the growth market of B2B sharing economies into reality in the next few years," says Reinhard Hinrichs, Managing Director of Hannover Beteiligungsfonds GmbH, explaining the investment.

"From my role as CEO of Hafven, I know from my own experience that the need for modern solutions for modern communities is great. With Mago, Hardy and Jonas, I am relying on a team with whom I have already worked closely and well for many years," says Jürgen Pleteit, Managing Director of Plimo Ventures GmbH.

Founders Hardy Seiler and Jonas Lindemann, both co-founders of the Hafven Innovation Community, realized that there was no platform that brought together exchange and value creation in their community - so they brought Magomed Arsaev on board and started developing coapp.
